Kuykendall Photo

Lauren Kuykendall is an Assistant Professor of Psychology at George Mason University in Fairfax, VA. She received her PhD in Industrial-Organizational Psychology from Purdue University in 2015 and her bachelor's degree in philosophy and psychology from Wofford College in Spartanburg, SC in 2007. Her research focuses on understanding how workers can make choices and cultivate characteristics that promote their well-being and how work contexts can promote or impede these processes. Several of her current projects focus on leisure choices as an important target for enhancing well-being. Her research has been published in journals such as Psychological Bulletin, International Journal of Psychology, and Emotion Review (forthcoming).
