Happiness and Well-Being: Integrating Research Across the Disciplines was a three-year, $5.1 million project based at Saint Louis University, and was aimed at fostering dialogue and collaboration among well-being researchers across a wide range of disciplines, including the sciences, philosophy, and theology and religious studies. The project ran from July 2015 to June 2018, and was funded mainly by a $4.6 million grant from the John Templeton Foundation, with $453,000 in additional funding from Saint Louis University. The project leader is Dan Haybron, Professor of Philosophy at Saint Louis University.

Over 150 researchers from 20 nations participated in the project. To learn more about the research we supported, click here. The final event, the Capstone Conference, gathered over 100 researchers from 15 countries in St. Louis from May 22-24, 2018. We hope to post updates about research outcomes later.

The project concluded as of June 30, 2018, but this site will continue to be maintained for the foreseeable future. Check out our videos and other great resources!
